Laura Johnson is the President of the Massachusetts Audubon Society, whose mission is to protect the nature of Massachusetts for people and wildlife. At The Nature Conservancy she served in several positions, including as Division Vice President of the Northeast Division. She graduated from Harvard University, and received a J.D. degree from the New York University School of Law. Among her various other roles Laura serves as a member of the Stewardship Council of the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR), and a member of the Corporation of the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute. Laura, who lives with her husband in Concord, Massachusetts, enjoys hiking, traveling and bird - watching with her family.
