As Chief Enterprise Architect, Mr. Paul has responsibility for developing the department-wide Enterprise Architecture (EA); guides, tracks, and integrates the EA efforts within DOJ’s components; sets standards, including framework, methodology, and tool infrastructure; and runs related governance activities. As Program Executive for NIEM, he works closely with the U.S Dept. of Homeland Security and stakeholders throughout the local, state, and federal justice and law enforcement community. Previously he also served as Product Manager and Group Architect at NASD. Mr. Paul has over 20 years experience in a variety of entrepreneurial and executive engineering and product management roles. He received his BS degrees in math and electrical engineering, and his MS in electrical engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park.
