Jundong is a first year Master in Public Policy (MPP) candidate at Harvard Kennedy School. He founded Xinguang Mass Education School when he was a business major college freshmen in Renmin University of China. This nonprofit school develops innovative free night classes to help rural migrant workers in Beijing to combat the pervasive struggles with community exclusion. After college, he worked in a nonprofit education think tank in China, where he mainly managed the Local Education Governance Innovation Award and conducted advocacy for marginalized rural small school students. He is interested in government innovation, education policy and education technology.
