The purpose of this literature review is to survey the existing published literature on faith-based participation in affordable housing in the United States. This report sheds light on the role of faith-based organizations (FBOs) in affordable housing development by describing the extent of their involvement in the industry, outlining existing models of their participation and distilling the lessons learned from the field.
