Women and Technology at the Crossroads: Mobilizing for Change!
Lucinda Sanders, CEO of the National Center for Women & Information Technology, Bell Labs Fellow, and Board Member of Gold Systems.

Why are girls and women opting out of information technology disciplines and careers at an increasing (and alarming) rate? What are the impacts on the technology that we use, on our nation's competitiveness, and on society at large?

The National Center for Women & Information Technology (www.ncwit.org) is a mobilizing organization comprised of distinguished individuals and organizations from across the country that is focused on turning this problem around in no more than 20 years. Come and hear about these issues and discuss them with Lucinda Sanders, the Center's CEO and co-founder.
