Christina Marchand is Associate Director for the Government Innovators Network and Innovations at the Ash Center. Marchand is responsible for overseeing the Innovations in American Government Program, the nation’s preeminent program devoted to recognizing and promoting excellence and creativity in the public section, including recruiting and developing relationships with agencies that apply to the program. She also manages the development of dissemination strategies for winning programs in order to encourage the replication of award-winning government programs throughout the United States and beyond. Marchand provides strategic management of the Government Innovators Network, an online marketplace of ideas and examples of government innovations for policymakers and practitioners around the world. She holds her bachelor’s degree from the University of New Hampshire and her master’s degree from King’s College London. She also serves on the board of her local civic association and as a clerk for the election department in the city of Boston, Massachusetts.
