Description
If you're a government communicator, what do you need to do your job even better than you do it now? Is it new ideas? New communication technologies? New collaborative work tools? New practices? Other communication professionals to talk with? Experts to answer questions? More time in the day? A bigger budget?
We can't give you more time or a bigger budget, but we can give you everything else, all wrapped up in a day-long communications conference on October 26 in Washington. We're offering keynote addresses, panels, and breakout sessions by communication experts, journalists, and high-level government officials, plus time for networking with your peers and to visit our sponsors' exhibit tables.
Fee includes breakfast, lunch, and refreshments at two breaks.
Who Can Attend The conference is open to government employees (federal, state, and local), contractors working with government employees, IABC/Washington members, and students at GWU and other colleges and universities in the greater Washington and Baltimore regions. Location: Cafritz Conference Center The George Washington University 800 21st Street, NW (3 blocks from Foggy Bottom Metro) Washington District of Columbia
